Generating Office Tower with Podium

Automate the generation of office tower with podium based on the following rules

• The podium shape should follow the plot boundary shape

• The office tower will be a rectangular box sitting on top of the podium

• Tower Core Width Range: 12-15. Core Length shall follow the tower length.

• Tower Floor Depth (Core to Facade) range: 10-13,

• The Final Plot Ratio = Cacultared Plot Ratio x 85%

• Ground floor should have a recessed covered walkway

Output

The tower and podium geometry is export into separate geometries baked in Rhino with respective attributes (Elefront Plugin) for a later stage GFA calculation

Observations:

• Check if the parcel boundary is within plot size requirements. If it is out of bounds, the output will flag that the land parcel area exceeds/is under the size limit

• Calculate building size, site coverage, plot ratio, total GFA for office and podium, nº of floors for office tower.

• The values-input are autoreferenced from an excel spreadsheet

• I have considered asigning one of the parcel boundary segments as front manually assigning a point in rhino.
